They do that at our school too, every lesson a paper goes round with all the names in that class and you have to put you signature on it.
If you have a lazy teacher that doesn't count if thre are as many signatures as there are people present then you just get a friend to sign it when you are gone.
And since we had a really cool class last year we all skipped a hour once
. We all went home and left a note on the classroomdoor, it said something like: "Dear teacher, we are enjoying the sunny weather outside right now, we suggest you do the same and go home... Have a nice day, class XXX"
He got VERY pissed about that tough
