Poll preview is coming soon for new polls, done for editing polls.
I just finished a project I've been working on for a few days (only a couple hours per day, of course
). My goals were:
- Allow non-mods to edit their own polls.
- Stop dodgy mods from forging poll votes!
- Fix all bugs in the poll edit feature.
I think all 3 are done. Go post a poll and try to edit it... see what you think. I added quite a few limitations to stop abuse, but it's still much better than nothing, right?
The reason you can't edit options without resetting the votes is simple... here's a scenario:
1. You post a poll with 2 options: "Yes" and "No"
2. People vote
3. You edit the poll and switch the options around
4. Now it looks like the people who voted "Yes" voted "No" and vice versa.
