~INVASION~: Is that happening when you are trying to use the emoticons in MSN, or saving with the program itself? If it is the msn issue, I suggest you to resave the image to another file format; there is nothing else I can do. Some people have reported this before, odd.
CookieRevised: Depending on what program you are using, it is very possible that the image looses quality. If I export (not saving) a small image with PaintShop Pro7 in GIF, it will look awfull.
