I think
Windows Messenger may be singin in silently at the background which prevents
MSN Messenger from singin in correctly. To be honest this i just wild guess, but problems simular to this do seem to happen.
At least it wouldn't hurt to disable
Windows Messenger the right way if you only use [i]MSN Messenger. CookieRevised created an excellent guide on how to do this. Follow his instuctions precisely (step 1 through 9.
