This may be a little different than any other suggestion so far but:
1) Have you installed all of the Windows Update updates?
2) Do you have an Anti-Virus, if so, what one? (e.g. Norton, McAffee, etc.)
3) If you have an AV, have you done a full system scan?
4) Have you done an ad/spyware scan using Adaware, Spybot, or another similar program?
