Well, I think there are ways of putting malicious code in images, so you could load a forum thread or something where someone has a dodgy off-site avatar, and the bad stuff would be loaded without you knowing. Keeping Windows patched will usually prevent that though.

Yeah, I agree... Windows Firewall seems pretty good from experience/testing and stuff I've read about it. Though the new icon is a little dodgy...
