I am currently running Windows XP Pro, on a 1.2ghz laptop (797mhz when running on low battery), 256MB ram and 18gb HDD

Step one: Throw laptop out window
Step two: Claim insurance money for "theft"
step three: Buy a less shitty laptop

..:refuck:

Na, jk
If you want to run Linux without partitioning, you have very few options:
1) You can store all of your data on an external HDD and then format your HDD and install Linux as your primary OS
2) You can use a Virtual PC type program to run Linux, but you won't get very good performance.
3) You can whipe your HDD clean and start over with Linux
4) You could go through the costly process of getting a new, bigger primary or seccondary HDD for your laptop
5) Suck it up and partition your HDD :refuck:..:P
