Edit: it's always a wise idea to burn your personal files to a CD every now and then. In reply to Ningc post: if you got the OS on CD and your personal stuff, what risk is there? Worst is all files get lost (never happend to me using PM 8) but the only other way is to reformat the HD so it'll be lost then also.


well i dunno formating your comp gives you a fresh new start... so unless everything is super customised with weird settings, i don't see what's bad...

i had to format my pc and it was hell bringing all my settings back, but after a day of hard work i had 2 partitions and a great pc :)
