1. Copy out the contents of HKCU\AppEvents\Schemes\Apps\MSNMSGR to a key under the HKCU MsgPlus settings.

2. Iteratively set  the default value in HKCU\AppEvents\Schemes\Apps\MSNMSGR\<keyname>\.Current  to a blank string.

3. On return from boss mode, or when MsgPlus restarts (in case of a crash), write back the values you copied out in step 1.
