Could it be that Yahoo has coded similar as Gmail (sent box coded as inbox) causing Plus! to count the sent e-mails aswell?

I don't use Yahoo mail so i can't test it for you.

Check in your Yahoo account if it supports pop3 and enable it, then fill in the info given about servername etc. in Plus! pop3 checker).
