This can be caused by many reasons.
- One of which being the Handwriting plugin which is installed (but not needed for MSN Messenger 7).
- Or Smiley Central which is installed (it does conflict with Messenger Plus!)

- Or it can be a cache problem in MSN Messenger itself.

==> Also state the full and exact MSN Messenger version. This can be found in
menu: Help > item: About MSN Messenger, and is in the form of
7.0.0???. The latest MSN Messenger version is 7.0.0813, if your friend doesn't have that version then he/she needs to upgrade first by going to
http://messenger.msn.com/.
