Well, to be honest, the "5-minute" was set without any "formal statistics", and it's hardly to be the "optimal number" for both the notification-generators and notification-receivers. I'm always open to suggestions regarding the Anti-Flood Protection - as long as it's not "hey, remove the whole damn thing!"
