i just downloaded the latest msn messenger which is a 8.91 mb installer
The size just keeps increasing 
Anyways i downloaded and installed it over the old msn. When it launched my firewall (zone alarm security suite (av+fw+asw)) stopped it and asked me for permissions .... i allowed it and then it crashed. I restarted it and it crashed again.
So i uninstall it and then reinstall. Same problem.
It was downloaded from the official site as usual.

I cant confirm the version number as i cant even get it started 
I just copied the version number from Absorbations skin thread which happened to be in the same forum
