The Opera TPs (betas) have memory leaks. I think it may be some sort of debug log, I might ask there soon. The normal releases might build up a high memory usage, but that is over time if you have been working a lot. Opera keeps recent pages in memory, so that when you click
Back, the page appears almost instantly, rather that having a few seconds to wait. With lots of pages open and lots of back/forward history, the memory usage can climb, but when the memory is needed, Opera frees it up for that other program. By comparison to Internet Explorer, Opera's memory usage is miniscule.
