For people that want to know the max size of MSN Messenger's chat log, the answer is 8192 entries...the filesize has actually nothing to do.

I'll try to find the proof in MSN Messenger's Help document...just wait

MSN Messenger saves a maximum of 8,192 messages to your computer. Once this limit has been reached, you can choose to archive or delete your older messages. Archiving saves your message history as a separate file. Deleting removes your oldest messages to create room for new messages.
