O.P. RE: OMG Screw getting a Mac...
You don't need to do all that ^ All's I did was:
1. Burnt JaS DVD Version
2. Unplugged all hard drives except the one I wanted OS X on
3. Booted from JaS OS X DVD.
4. Made my partitions in Disk Manager in the install.
5. Installed OS X.
That there worked fine for me. And also you can use PS/2 mouse and keyboard you don't need just USB. I'm useing PS/2 Keyboard and USB mouse.
*Oh and also make sure the drive you install on is set to Master on the jumper pin.
