Getting a new box

Windows® XP Pro Edition
AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual-Core 4200+
2048MB (2x1GB) RAM
320GB sATA
DVD/CD-RW Multi DL
DVD16x
nVidia GeForce 7950 GX2

That's what i atleast want, but depending on the price i'm gonna go for a diffirent GPU from the nVidea GeForce 7 series. Altho i should ba able to get it, as i have €1700 for it (and €350 extra for my monitor but i can always cut a bit if i need some more for the rest).

Basicly what i want to do is get a gaming pc, possible to run vista later (these specs kinda asure that

). But i'm gonna put atleast one linux distro on it too.

Anyone got some tips on parts i should get combined with these (or instead), keep in mind that i hate Intel and dislike ATI
