Would you really want a doctorate in English? It means your job would most probably be a teacher lecturing at universities about English.
I think your aiming really high for music, it is not an easy subject. Performing arts are probably the hardest to get good grades in
As for me, I have done two GCSE's already, Religion ( A ) and Statistics ( D ). I do think you are aiming a little high at the moment, you may be disappointed when do you get your results
