The reason some valid email addresses are being rejected is because of the way the server identifies itself. This will be corrected before the time of the mailing. If your email address is valid, whether or not you receive forum emails, your account will not be deleted.
The email sent will contain instructions to verify your forum account. The return address of thte email will lead to a PHP script. When the php script receives an email (bounced), it takes the address it bounced from and purges the email account. Emails will be sent out in groups of 500.
