thanks for your replies I no longer have the problem posted before. but my question is I have winxp home and win 2000pro on my pc, and I want to get rid of the 2000pro from my pc. how can I do that? Looked it up a bit but didn't find useful results. here is a link which I visited:

one of the parts I didnt understand was this:
3. In Windows Explorer, find the Windows folder that you want to remove.
Important Make sure that this folder is not the folder that you identified as your "working" Windows folder in step 2.
4. Right-click the Windows folder that you want to remove, and then click Delete.
5. Click Yes to confirm the deletion of the folder.
can someone explain to me which folder it is referring to?
