The whole reason behind them is to keep a log of who said what. If you remove them after x hours/days/weeks and so on there would be no point to it at all. If you want to delete logs from the previous month, you can just delete the files (if done chronologically and not per contact)
Yes... that is the whole point of it... and that's exactly it... If we do want to delete logs that are x-months old... It would be nice if it would do it automatically in case we're too busy/lazy to do so...
