Just annoying when people say if its commercial dvds then i won't tell you. Him back up DVDs he has at his parents house is just same as you backing up your own personnal collection as long as you own the oringal dvd doesn't matter were the copy is as long as you have the copy and the oringal. which you don't let anyone barrow or touch of course 
It sounded to me as if it was his parents. I didn't want to shoot myself in the foot.
As I said before, you're allowed to backup movies you own. But this thread has moved away from its original topic. Shall we get back to it?
