I find them a bit too light... just a small bit though... I'm probably nitpicking....
Though I think I like the triangles a bit more than the blended stars. Way clearer to see where you've posted... But I understand that the 'skinners' amung us might find them ugly
PS: Marking the icons is indeed a welcome improvement though
