I want to get GTA IV.. but I don't have a PS3 or XBOX 360.. so it's decision time. Which one should I get? I also want the console of course, not just for the game

Xbox 360 has better online multiplayer, so I hear (although it costs, but not much), whereas PS3 is free.
Xbox 360 is a lot cheaper, you can get the Premium console and GTA IV for £199.99

Play.com which is a brilliant deal.
...Whereas PS3 is £300
($590 USD / $598 CAD) on its own.
I could get a second-hand one for cheaper I guess.
Also I have a PS2 and I've never played an xbox in my life
