RE: PS3 or XBOX 360 ?
I don't think that's the problem, Rare's games have really had a drastic change. As a 10 year old I remember playing Golden Eye, Banjo Kazooie, Diddy Kong Racing, Perfect Dark etc. on the N64 and I know for a fact that even as an adult I would have enjoyed the games.
Unfortunately now most of the games are going too much into the children end of the audience spectrum (such as Viva Pinata, don't get me wrong it's a good game, just a bit too childish) and I think that is the problem, they're simply not capitalising on the young adult audience any more and ironically those are the ones which grew up with and want to (or would be willing to) play Rare's games.
