Well, this no longer seems to be an iTunes problem, but rather an MS Windows problem. VS 2008 JIT debugger says "Unhandled exception at 0x6ce61040 in iTunes.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation."

QuickWatch (whatever that may be):

6CE61040    CXX0013: Error: missing operator


Anyone got any info on how to solve this?
