Blogs and stuff will be visible there.
As long as you have enabled the proper content (
profile.live.com/WhatsNewWithYouSettings/) you want to share and set the the proper permissions for that content (
http://profile.live.com/Permissions/)...
...and that the contacts have selected the proper content to be visible (
http://profile.live.com/WhatsNewSettings/) (=subscribing).
You can never force someone to see some content if they don't want to. That's the whole point of subscribing, no matter where it is shown.
