I like Microsoft Security Essentials, works for me and doesnt take up much resources, I dont even realise its there.
Ive used McAfee before and I liked them too, they seemed to work quite well, except scans took a while.
Ive also heard alot of great things about NOD32 and im sure alot of people on this forum can vouch for it.
Depends how much money you want to spend really, if you want somehting free, id recommend AVG Personal Edition.
