IT IS NOT A PROPER FIX
If you have a car running on Diesel you can also put petrol in it and it will run, but only for a short while and you will kill the engine. Putting petrol in a diesel engine is also not a proper fix, eventhough it seems to be working at first. Removing or renaming that DLL is just the same; it might seem to be working at first, but you will have a whole lot of hidden problems in the long run.
