O.P. Forum Portal
O.K, i've just made my new website (PigBoy Online) and (because I didn't know anything about it, and still dont') have just discovered there is a Portal page. I have just been using the index page. The portal seems to be like a normal portal except I can't figure a way to post things on it. If you go here you will see what I mean.

How would I post things there? I am using MyBB release 4.  Is it somewhere in the Admin CP? I'm new to all this :S

p.s. if your looking at the website, please ignore the theme,I know it's crap

RE: Forum Portal
wtf...
code:
SELECT * FROM 3306links ORDER BY `id` DESC
That doesn't seem to be a MyBB query... :dodgy:

Anyways, you should see a setting in your admin cp called "Forum ID to pull announcements from"... you need to enter an fid number there, and then the portal will get its content from posts in that forum.

I cant find it anywhere. All there is is a section called Anoucements that  puts a certain post in every forum, but there is no option to have it on the portal.

It's under Settings. The URL should be http://pigboy.freesuperhost.com/Forum/admin/settings.php. There's a bunch of settings related to the portal...
code:
'portal_showstats', 'Show forum statistics'
'portal_showpms', 'Show the number of PMs to users'
'portal_showwelcome', 'Show the Welcome box'
'portal_numannouncements', 'Number of announcements to show'
'portal_showstats', 'Show forum statistics'
'portal_showwol', 'Show Whos Online'
'portal_announcementsfid', 'Forum ID to pull announcements from'
'portal_showdiscussionsnum', 'Number of latest discussions to show'
'portal_showwol', 'Show Who's Online'
'portal_showsearch', 'Show Search Box'
'portal_showdiscussions', 'Show Latest Discussions'
'portal_showdiscussionsnum', 'Number of latest discussions to show'
