O.P. Alternatives to msn messenger
does anybody know any programs that are an alternative to msn messenger, my mate cannot connect through msn and is having loadsa problems....i think its his pc.....he can only login with emessenger (is it on like a proxy so his pc doesnt actually connect to msn itself) hes a forum memeber, his name is benellis2007....
so got any alternative programs?

i think he means alternate programs that can connect to the MSN Messenger protocol, try trillian, gaim etc
can he connect using webmessenger?

nah he cant connect through web messenger, or login to hotmail...but he knows the password is right and he can login using emessenger with thtat password

I suggest gaim. It's a pretty nifty messenger that can control AIM, YIM, and MSN accounts. I had it for a while until I quit using AIM and YIM and just start using MSN only.

Anyway May73Alliance, your friend could try out the various Web based Messenger's featured on Mess.be if Trillian or Gaim don't work.
only emessenger works. msn webmessenger doesnt or that other one, ermm . i cant remember now...trillian doesnt work.. ill tell him to try GAIM when hes online.... thanks
