RE: Vista doesn't autorun
If you're not sure about your boot order, then try another disk that you have booted from before (maybe Windows XP or Ubuntu Live). Take note that Windows XP, and probably Vista, show a small message (probably at the bottom of the screen "Press any key to enter Setup ...", and if you don't, the computer boots normally instead of from the CD/DVD.
