Yeah that first computer is not worth it. You could pick up that second hand for at most $100 here.

Hey ShawnZ and everybody else Thanks. Before i saw your post shawn, I bought this,

19 inch widescreen 5 ms response time 700:1.

For 219 CAD.  What do you think about it?

I bought it because i realised I need a screen for now, because my laptops screen is dead, so i just connected it to my laptop and realised that the back to school sale will happen in a few weeks and towers should drop and be around like 299. Btw ShawnZ im trying to avoid refurbished things.

I wish. Its old I want to get rid of it already im using the acer moniter right now on it. it constantly crashes while viewing videos or games, even with my cooling pad underneath. So does anyone know where I could get a good computer without monitor for cheap? Not refurbished, DVDburner, prefurably 1gb ram.

The cheapest computer will be one you build yourself. Its really not that hard at all and if you need a bit of help you can ad me on MSN.

No just need a good computer that doesnt overheat. And many of you said you can get me a better deal
