RE: Add/Remove Programs
If Modifying installations to add stuff (e.g. modify Office installation to add Frontpage, Access etc) counts then yes, at work.

RE: RE: RE: Add/Remove Programs
I use the applet to add programs that are components of Windows (like the games and stuff) that it asks you to put in the Windows CD for (then because I don't want to look for my CD I give up).

who ever uses it?
people who also use the "safely remove hardware" thing?
I cba to do it, waste of time and so far hasn't done any damage to my stuff.
I do it now because my U3 Cruzer tells me that I should have when I don't.

There's a link to a brief Help topic that explains how to install programs. It explains how to install new software from a cd or dvd, or after you've downloaded it.

RE: Add/Remove Programs
They should remove the add feature and rename it Repair/Remove programs.

Don't make it seem like a bad things. ReadyBoost demands you to use the safely remove hardware feature, or else the space of the cache goes to nowhereland, and you'll have to format.

RE: Add/Remove Programs
I kept the U3 stuff, that's part of the reason I bought a Cruzer. The other part was that Sandisk makes top quality products and I was replacing my 128 MB disk with a 2 GB disk also. After I bought it I found the portableapps.com launcher thing but I haven't tried that yet.

RE: Add/Remove Programs
I must say Sandisk is really good hardware. My dad got a 1GB USB key and forgot about it in his pocket, he put his shirt to the wash and then when he found it he let it dry out for a bit. When we put it back into the computer all his files were still there
I still don't like the U3 stuff
