works great for me except one problem

It does open my defauly browser (Firefox) to check emails, but it opens it up everytime i open a conversation window.

It seems just about everybody cant work this thing. I downloaded it, and did everything it says in the read me, and what people have said in the forums, have even changed the registry settings for it, as told by somebody, but still nothing.
Msn plus doesnt even read it in the preferences> plugins panel.
so...unless suddenly somebody finds a way for this to work then seems we will all have to wait

it's released as alpha so you could expect this.

if you cant figure it out this plugins probably not for you.

there should be a readme file in there, telling u where to put the .dll files

As it is an alpha release, it is to be expected that not everything will be explained properly. Alpha indicates that it is an internal test version, of which you should not expect proper behaviour and for which you should not expect full support.

1.Extract your files
2.Place the cximagecrt.dll.dll file in c:/windows/system32
3.Shut down MSN Messenger
4.Run the installer

you are done

and if you still cant get it READ the entire thread properly
