dear sir:

i have problem using ss3 on my notebook.

here is my version:

Windows Version: Windows XP, 5.01.2600
Messenger Client Version: 6.2.0137
Messenger Plus! Version: 3.500.00124
Screenshot Sender Version: 3.0.555

when i using capture function, the error message show below:


and ss3 will be unfuncitonal.

can you help me to fix it ?

hmm, ive never seen that error before

for now, can you enable logging and then restart Messenger and then send me the log to dempsey @ weirdfish.net

i know coloutnickV2 dont work in PLus 3.50 but SS3 works fine for me

It is not in the plugin list of Messenger Plus!

Am I doing something wrong?

Barisko - Did you run the installer?  Did it say it installed Sucessfully?

What are you Messenger and Windows Versions?

Yes, the installer says that it installed correctly....

MSN Messenger 6.2.0205

MSGPlus! 3.50.124

Windows XP Pro Sp2

hmm thats weird, thats the same versions as me, except SP2.

So is it just not in the Plugins List in the Plus menu?  Have you restarted Messenger?

The only plugin installed is StuffPlugNG

after installing your plugin I restarted my computer. Nothing...

It is not under settings in the Plus! options menu, nowhere to be found...

what files should be in my Plugins folder?

in the plugins folder there should be

SS.dll and FreeImage.dll

you can try manually installing it, by typing

code:

regsvr32 "c:\program files\Messenger Plus! 3\plugins\ss.dll"

---

or where you have plus! insatlled.

And check if you have a value of

code:

Dempsey.SS

in

code:

---

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Patchou\MsgPlus2\RegisteredPlugins

then restart Messenger.

Oh btw, which version of Screenshot Sender is it?  3.0.555 ?

It looks if i solved the problem...

It was not your plugin that was the problem, I was running MSN Messenger in "protected mode" with some sort of program/addon called 'SurfRight'. This SurfRight takes away some 'admin rights' so it is more safe to use MSN Messenger.

I think that was the problem... thanks for your time and help!
