What does Windows call drives after 24 drives by defualt. Is it something like AA or A+ or A2?

Im wondering what motherboard hes using, In general they only support 4 IDE Devices..

2 x Highpoint Rocketraid 454 (8 hdd slots per card = 16 hdd slots)
  (alltoghether that gives 28 hdd slots on the motherboard)
