But what Menthix said: Plus! has always supported multiple versions. So going on that, it would now too. This said, some stuff might of course only be WLM 2011 specific though (eg: options in regards to the 'social' part of Messenger 2011, if any).

I just checked. No, it is not optional. But all that happens is a single call to a URL on msgpluslive.net. The URL or headers don't contain personal data. In fact, it doesn't contain any data. The statistic is just the rate of uninstalls, just as a call to the download URL is used for statistics too without any privacy concern.

If you worry about the uninstall call you should have been worried when you hit the download button on the Plus! site too. It's the same thing .

Great news, I can't wait to use Plus! 5 when it release.

A bit of a out-of-nowhere question, but can anyone who personally use the logging feature confirm whether or not it works in 2011?

Chat logging does not seem to work, see Plus 4.9 on WLM 2011. Which features work and which ones don't.

Edit: and for the record, for those of you who are not able to read, I'm not reffering to calling WLM as MSN, but calling Plus! as MSN. I couldn't be doing it the other way because this person CLEARLY said "windows live messenger beta". If you're too incompetent to read, don't bother posting at all.
