I know many people use Winamp to play music files... since MsgPlus! gives support to it (!WAT), why not get something back from it?
Music can generate sound data that can be used to create beautiful visualizations... Winamp does it with his AVS Editor, and I wanted to try it. While these are very simple compared to what can be done, they're my contribution to the MsgPlus! Community, I hope you enjoy them
11 New and original AVS Presets with the MsgPlus! Theme!!
Installation Instructions (also included in the zip file):
For Winamp 2.x
1. Extract files to [winampfolder]\Plugins\avs (normally it would be c:\program files\winamp\Plugins\avs)
2. After running Winamp, right click on the winamp window (you can also press Ctrl+Shift+K and jump to step 4)
3. Point to Visualization, then click on "Start/Stop plug-in"
4. Double click on the visualization window. The "Winamp AVS Editor" Opens.
5. Click on Settings, then on Presets/Hotkeys. There's a button under "Preset (sub) directory to use for random/cycle:", press it and choose "MsgPlus!"
5a. You can configure random settings for the visualizations there.
6. Close the AVS Editor and give a treat to your eyes!
For Winamp 3.x
1. Extract files to [winamp3folder]\Wacs\data\avs (normally it would be c:\program files\winamp3\Wacs\data\avs)
2. After running Winamp, right click on the winamp window (you can also click on the AVS Icon on the thinger and jump to step 4)
3. Point to "Windows" then click on Visualization Studio.
4... Follow same steps as Winamp 2.x
