RE: Patchou ?
The forum rules do ask you to speak in English so no one's yacking off in every language...so it could be regarded as Spam...and why join this forum if you've never installed this software?

RE: Patchou ?
He's kinda asking Patchou why everything is in English, while Patchou is from Quebec (well, France, actually, he emigrated), and that he'd like to see a reply from Patchou himself that "he denigrates his language". I believe he also said something about never installing the software because of this.
The mentioned web site doesn't work either.

RE: Patchou ?

Superyann, we speak English here because most people speak English... Messenger Plus! can be installed in French, you simply need to choose your language in the installation.

RE: Patchou ?

But of course there must be people who don't speak English, surely there should be different versions of the website, and so on? Trying to find a program in your first language on an English website is probably very difficult. I understand that English is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, and most people learn it a bit, but there must be some who don't understand any, and since you've made a multilingual program, it could help to make your site multilingual as well.

RE: Patchou ?
yep... unfortunately, that would be very hard. However, I plan to add multi-language support on msgplus.net in the next version of the site, and for very few selected pages only. As for the forum, I already thought about it but what's the point? nobody would ever go in the multi-lang section (IRC is a good example of that).

there is a word for weekend: "fin de semaine" it is not a word... but an expression...
but anyway... in quebec, we say one english word on two, neither english-speaking nor French-speaking (France) people can understand what we say....
and to the original poster: i agree with everybody, english is an UNIVERSAL language, so learn it if you use internet...
