I usually prune old threads when the post total gets near 60000. I haven't had much time lately though. Anyway, with the database tweaks I made recently, and the fairly low server load, I don't mind letting the posts add up.

I just finished pruning 3000 users who didn't activate their accounts... the threads are next... probably tomorrow. (y)

I dunno, just seems like a good number. It allows us to keep enough old threads without having a 200 MB database...

Its actually interesting to see the "real" postcounts users have.. the ones displayed here are soooooo incorrect.
