Actually, this is a nice idea. A small key at the bottom, or on the hrlp page with hover text letting you know what each image means.

Obviously I have no idea what they would be, but add them above the line that says the time and date of each post. I suppose could work?

Myabe using the reputation & gender images as an example of how big they should be. I dont personally think they should have a particular heading or anything, just linkaged to the key so when someone clicks it they know what it is.

This is the reason i suggested seperating the stuff from the Status, reputation, etc... As trying to give it a heading would be difficult IMO.

imo, they shoud be a bit bigger, like the stars (16x16 or so)

i like the idea of having a Plus logo with something on it for tester/translator under the reputation part, but only a small image of about 19x19 or so

Or you could have an added bit with a logo like Choli Next to his
