I think there's no problem with non-tester elites viewing MP!ß-secrets (they are actually trusted members of the community) So there's principally no need to have double usergroups (which is very likely to be complex impov: you don't know which to show, there could be permission conflicts between them, so which is the rpeferred one?... rather difficult).

or... well, you can make all the testers elites (if patchou trust, anyone else should )

j/k, leave the single usergroup and create a new one for testers and elites (obviously).

wdz could create 2 more groups: one called tester and another called elite testers . Elites won't be allowed to read that forums and testers and elite testers will. (in case patchou wouldn't want elites non testers read the forum)

Well, after looking at the staff list, I guess MenthiX's first post was right... most of the mods/admins/elites are testers, so it's not really a problem.

I still say that a Tester group for 3 should continue, as Patchou will more than likely build on the Plus! 3 beta before any sequal, like he did with Plus! 2.

I personally don't think the same kind of building will happen on Plus 3!  It's more of a cleaner version of Plus 2! 

Perhaps Patchou might make a seperate add-on for Messenger that does more advanced things for the more experienced user, something like Wtbws idea of Freedom

Well, at least, if testers were made elite members, it would bring a purpose to this aristocratic group

As for developing a new Messenger add-on, the day I get up and my clock goes up to the 49th hour instead of 23, I will consider it

Forum staff may not agree to the idea of testers also being "elite" members. Maybe if the elite list was scrapped and replaced with another group; then thats fair enough.

if elites are testers, move them to a testers group and make some more elites
