what you need to get from somewhere (best buy, or a small computer store) is (write this down):


128MB of PC100 SDRAM

it might be hard to find PC100, so PC133, or even any number will work, u just won't get the speed, as it drops to the speed of the mother board.

SDRAM aint that expensive at the moment.

I picked up a stick of 256MB for £32  for a friend :)

Wish I had the money .  www.ebuyer.com is normally quite good

Generally RAM is cheap. You might want 512mB or RAM, because Winblows XP needs double the RAM for games and stuff. Also more RAM equals better computer.

There isn't too much difference between home and pro, so I owuld suggest you save yourself a hundred or so bucks and go with Home Edition...
