I think that this is a very good idea, it would save a lot of time and effort.

i'm leaving for days and i forgot to close the window.

Such thing will kill the server more then that it would actually be usefull i think.

there are browsers (like avant browser) where you can set a refresh time for each opened page. Anyway, I think like MenthiX: That would be an unneeded load for the server.

or mozilla firefox extensions too

As, for what MenthiX said. I agree with him. But I would like to say, it wouldn't put that much of a load would it? I like the idea.
