As of today the ad banner removal option does not work any longer They have found a way to get through even if the option is checked.
Any solution for this most horrible feature of MSN?

it will be solved in Plus! 3.10 which will be out in September .

That should be nice. ik have the same problem since today

can you plz search the forum before posting, if u would have searched, you would have found lots of threads about this problem.

The Advertisement banner doesnt hides

are just the first few off the search

Since today (27th august '04) I also have the same problem

If I go to a contact with my mouse, I get de advertisements
So I can't see the name of the contact!

Hopefully this problem will be solved very soon!

I dont particuly mind the ads, sure they make the scroll bar in your contact list smaller but they keep messenger free

o yea, forgot to say, its happened to me, lol, cant wait til september to get the new version to get rid of the ads which i dont particuly mind

Hmm. I don't really know what u all guys (and girls) have with your banners, but i got this since a few days (at the place where the banner appeared before) whatever i checked or not the "hide banners" thingie...
