Scripts are compatible with any operating system that mIRC works on if they don't use external DLLs, and as you may or may not know, mIRC has a very powerful built in scripting engine which most scripts find sufficient to do what they're meant to.
Two of the best websites with mIRC scripts available for the general public to download are
mIRC.net and
mIRCscripts.org.
If you want to make a bot in mIRC script and you can't make it yourself, all I can say is: don't. You can try
Windrop (for Windows), or if you have access to a Linux shell,
eggdrop. You can maybe even try find one for mIRC on one of those mIRC scripting websites mentioned above.
