When using internet exploer it just closes every ie open windows  at radom times sometimes it would just close after it opens are after its open a while

Also have tryed reinstalling it.

ADD: TRYED adware/virus/spyware scans[b]

[b]its been happen for about a week  but just didn't take any notice of it but
its starting to get annyoing

Any ideas what could be causing this

Do you have an anti-virus, and have you done an ad/spyware scan?

If you haven't use one and get rid of the nasty spyware/adware. Two good programs that do this job perfectly are :

Ad-Aware Se edition

and

Spybot - Search & Destroy

Although these say the lop sponsor adware from the MSG Plus! sponsor is spyware and harmful and recommend you to remove these (DON'T uninstall them with this) they are pretty good programs.

I have done scans for virus/adware/spyware sorry for not saying that  in the first tread!

any other possible causes

Could be memory problems.
Do you get any errors when they close?
Is it always the same pages? (Some are scripted to close windows)
Any other relevant info?

no warning but i did install 256mb of ram!(but was happen before i installed it)

it happens on any website mostly on this forum! and when viewing pics of large sizes

will when its closed the computer is majoy slow i have to end up rebooting to get it bk to full speed

I would recommend you scan your computer with Spybot, lavasoft, and  Spysweeper. It has to be a virus/trojan infecting this or maybe some kind of popups...

I had this problem before. Not sure how I fixed it tho. .

Have mcafee security center and have all the virus scan updates!
