Will The Blasphemer ever turn Stuffplug-NG into its own program, this would prolly bring down some users of MsgPlus!  But I think that it would be better as a plugin

I don't see any advantages of this...

I do, there is so many people using stuffplug right now, wouldnt it be easier if they downloaded only 1 program instead of 2 (plus to use stuffplug)

neally all then people that download stuffplug-ng will already have plus! so it won't make much different !!!

TB asked this on the mess.be forums and decided that it would stay as a plugin so yea

I think its definitely got the cabability of being a standalone extension for msn messenger, but I doubt that TB would bother doing such a thing for what you stated above, it may bring down the amount of users for plus!, and there may be some compatability errors between certain features in the future, messenger plus' limitations usually prevents this, i'm sure this is another reason.

Well really it doesn't need to be it's own extension. It already has some really cool features. I don't think it would get any better anyways if it was a stand-alone extension as most of the coding is already possible though Msg Plus!.

anyway wouldn't TB have to rewrite the hooks so that it will still work as a standalone.

and Plugins have restrictions.

Good and Bad points to both sides i reckon. i think it should just stay as a plugin though. (which it is for now so good )
