What my program does is (for example) : BrowseSafe.exe "C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger\msnmsgr_org.exe".
This line of code is part of my AutoIt script (compiled as exe) named: msnmsgr.exe

Bad thought but you could Password protect the Plus! preferences from your Dad and Auto Decline any file transfers for his account HAHAHA!!!
Messenger Plus! uses the filename of Messenger as it appears in the registry. I guess you could bypass this version problem by setting the same version string in the resources of your software as it appears in Messenger .
